about

A tarot reader at an intentional community in the Nooksack Valley of the North Cascades told me that I'd be just fine once I found my "heart song," the one that reminds me of who I am no matter where I go or how I change and grow and transform.

After almost 10 years of carrying this one with me, writing and rewriting the lyrics by weaving together dreams and out of body experiences that left vivid imagery painted in my mind and a melody to remember them by... I think this is it.

lyrics

Moon Song...

I died, and they told me it's not the end. I'm just dreaming again.
I dreamed that I was a single seed, storms blowing over me...
and the moon, oh how she speaks to me, so sweetly,

Go to sleep... Close your eyes.
Let me sing you a lullaby.
You can't count the stars. You can't count the stars...

I rise out my body, roll through the air, float out the window and you're holding my hand in the tunnel of white light with the wolves all around me, the red-eyed man in the corner, yeah you show me what they'd do if it wasn't for you.

Oh, we're flying so high now. We're flying so high...
I can't count the stars. Can't count the stars...

But I can still see the moon.
I can still see the moon.
I can still see her.
I can still see.

about

Elise Brianne Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico

Western New York born and raised songbird sings solo songs in coffeehouses and dimly lit bars from the Northeast to the Pacific Northwest.

Trades in cozy chambers for the open road: slumbering under star-filled skies and communing with the moon. Festivals and campfires...

Follows the sunshine to the southwest and settles in a hot springs town in the high desert: soaking, singing, strumming...
